Hey! My name is Kelly Rohan, first and foremost thank you for viewing my blog

My passion for snowsports and skiing in particular stems from my personal ski coach, my dad. He was a ski instructor in the 70's who started his career whilst working as a grave digger, viewing a newspaper article recruiting snow shovelers for a ski lift station in Saas Fee, Switzerland. He sent his application off with Royal Mail and learnt to ski at Rossendale Dry Ski Slope. In years to follow he became a BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) qualified ski instructor.

When I was aged 3 and a half my parents booked a ski holiday, and without any babysitters, I got to experience the mountains for the first time! My dad taught me everything I knew about skiing until I was aged 14 when I joined a Pendle Race Club. My racing technique improved enormously and at 18 I passed my first BASI Ski Instructing qualification. After university I became a BASI Level 2 Instructor and have completed seasons working in Zell am See, Austria (3 season), Niseko, Japan (1 season) and this season I am on a 14 week training programme with ICE (International Centre of Excellence) in Val-D'Isere, France, taking all the exams required for BASI L3.

Stay tuned to watch the life of a seasonnaire in a millionaires' ski resort!
